Our Travellers
What kind of adventurer are you?
Not every attraction suits every traveller — and that's exactly the point.
Exploring solo or taking your time?
We've got scenic drives, museums, country towns, local history and plenty of quieter adventures where the journey can be just as good as the destination.

Is the dog part of the family?
We'll help you find places where four-legged adventurers can join you — from walks and outdoor adventures to somewhere for a good run, a game of fetch or a go at the dog activity equipment.

Travelling with kids?
There's plenty to explore, play, discover and, importantly, burn off some energy. Younger adventurers can meet native animals, tackle adventure playgrounds or bounce themselves silly, while older kids have plenty of options too.

And if you're travelling with teenagers — otherwise known as wallet eaters — Tamworth has escape rooms, ten-pin bowling, arcade games and movies to help keep them entertained. There are some handy options for rainy days, too.
For something uniquely Tamworth, the kids can even try their hand at country music history in the Hands of Fame Park, comparing their hands with the handprints of some familiar names.

Bringing the whole crew?
Clubs, sporting teams, family gatherings and other groups can experience Tamworth together, with plenty of attractions, activities and day trips that work particularly well when you've got a few more adventurers in tow.

And during the Tamworth Country Music Festival?
That's a whole different adventure — so we've given Festival its own space.
